«The Central Bank»: record inflows of remittances from workers abroad worth 39.2 billion dollars in 10 months

The Central Bank of Egypt announced that the remittances of Egyptians working abroad continued their rising pace, increasing during the period July/April 2025/2026 by a rate of 33.2% to record inflows of approximately 39.2 billion dollars (compared with approximately 29.4 billion dollars during the period July/April 2024/2025).

At the monthly level, remittances rose during the month of April 2026 by a rate of 44.0% to record approximately 4.3 billion dollars (compared with approximately 3.0 billion dollars during the month of April 2025).
